Club Notes 14-8-2023
Club News:
Championship action gets underway for the adult teams in the club this weekend with the Senior Men and the Senior Reserves at home to Naomh Muire on Saturday evening in the Intermediate Championship followed by the Senior Ladies away to Burt in the Junior B Championship on Sunday Morning.
Congratulations to our neighbours, Setanta Hurling Club on retaining their County Championship. Well done players and management! Special shout-out to club player Steven McBride on winning Man of the Match.
The club ran a very successful summer camp last week with 97 kids from under the age of 14 attending. The kids were really well behaved and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Thanks to All Ireland winners Sharon and Emma for coming down, the kids really enjoyed seeing the cups. We are truly blessed to have a role model like Emma for our young kids. Hopefully we can have many more all Ireland medals coming through the doors in the not too distant future.
