Joe Carlin Memorial Tournament
The club held a very successful Joe Carlin Memorial Tournament on Saturday 4th June in the sunshine of Pairc Aodh Rua. Thank you to all competing U9 teams for contributing to a great day of football. Well done to the tournament winners St.Michaels, and Shield winners Glenfin.
A huge thank you to chief organisers Doug and Carol Gallagher. Well done to the young referees, umpires, and runners for their invaluable help on the day, and to all club members who helped in any way. Thank you to the Carlin family for attending and presenting the cups and medals to the winning teams.
Joe Larry Tournament
Well done to the U11 team and management on taking part in the Joe Larry Cup in Ardara on Bank Holiday Monday. A brilliant experience for the kids and a great day was had by all.
A huge thank you to Dessie Gallen Bespoke Carpentry for sponsoring a new set of jerseys for the U11 team.
Orlaith-the-way-to-Galway Charity Cycle
Well done to Gerard and Elaine Melaugh on completing the 200-mile charity cycle from Birmingham to Galway. A fantastic achievement for such a great cause.
