A mixed weekend of results for our adult teams in their championship games. The reserve men had a good 2-12 to 1-10 victory over Buncrana. In a game of two halves the senior men were 2 points up at half time but playing against a strong breeze in the second half they conceded 2 early goals. Buncrana tagged on 5 points in the last five minutes of the game to leave the final score Buncrana 2-17 Red Hughs 1-8.

The senior ladies had an excellent win over Termon at Pairc Aodh on Sunday morning. Final score Red Hughs 3-10 Termon 0-4.

Both senior and reserve men are due to travel to Downings this Wednesday evening 24th August. Reserves throw in at 6pm (TBC) and seniors at 7.30pm. The final group stage games are on Saturday 27th August at Pairc Aodh Rua versus St.Marys, Convoy.

The senior ladies are fixed to play their final group stage game away to Kilcar on Tuesday 30th August at 7.30pm.

The 2nd Annual Gary Kelly Memorial Tournament takes place at Ballybofey & Stranorlar Golf Club on Sunday 28th August. 9 hole and 18 hole competitions. Presentations will take place after in the clubhouse.

Members of the Ballybofey & Stranorlar Golf Club will play for the Gary Kelly Memorial Cup on the day.

The competition will be sponsored on the day by easytrip.ie. Contact Martin Wilson or Declan Carlin for tee times (from 2.30pm).

The U15 boys completed their season by competing in the All-County Shield Final in Mountcharles last Monday 15th August. Unfortunately, the boys came up against a strong McCumhaills side on the day however they should be happy with their efforts this season with winning the Division 3 league and reaching the Shield Final.
