Registration & Membership
There will be a registration evening in the clubhouse this Friday the 17th January from 8.00–9.00pm. Club Registrar Jennifer McMenamin will be in attendance and everyone is welcome. This is a great opportunity for everyone to get their membership completed early for the coming year.
5K Run-Walk for Joe and Andy
Red Hughs GAA would like to thank everyone who took part in the Joe Carlin & Andrew Scanlon 5K Memorial Run-Walk on New Year’s Day. Thanks to everyone who sponsored the event, it was greatly appreciated. Also, a big thank you to both the Carlin & Scanlon families, for very generously donating all proceeds raised to underage development within the five sports clubs in our local area.
Irish Life Every Step Counts Challenge
We will be lighting up the clubhouse and carpark for the challenge which kicks off this Wednesday the 15th of January at 7pm. Everyone is welcome, both club members and non-members. If you prefer to walk alone or if the time doesn’t suit, you can still take part in the challenge.
Download the Irish Life My Life App from the Play Store or Apple Store on your phone and follow the details. You can register on the My Life App, go to challenges-mylife every steps count, select Ulster and then Red Hughs GAA. Best of luck to everyone participating, and remember every step counts.
Club Meeting
There will be a club meeting in the clubhouse this Tuesday the 14th January at 8pm.
Minor Board
Parents/helpers are still required for the U6, U8 and U10 groups for this year. Saturday morning underage training for the U8 and U10 age groups will commence for this season at the CAKE Centre on the 1st February. U6 group will commence on the 22nd February.
